Here are a few of my favourite photos from our recent trip to Victoria, BC. We tend to venture away from the touristy areas so you won't find a photo of the Empress Hotel, which I'm sure is in every visitors photo collection. There are a few at Butchart Gardens though. How can you not love that place. Hopefully, these are from a perspective you haven't yet seen.
You can't go to Vancouver Island and not admire the driftwood laden rocky beaches!

Pier at Brentwood Bay
Fairholme Manor B&B is where we stayed. It's a beautifully restored heritage property owned and operated by Sylvia and Ross. The most gracious hosts we've met on any of our travels. Not to mention the amazing breakfasts!
The next few are taken at Butchart Gardens
Taking it all in
While waiting for the Ferry at Salt Spring Island, I noticed this guy sunning himself.
Stump with face along trail to Sandcut Beach
This scene doesn't portray the strong winds that made it unbearable to stand for much longer than it takes to snap a photo. But it was worth it.
I loved this for the stark contrast of the tulips against the gloomy grey sky.
Waiting for someone to toss him a fish at Fisherman's Warf.
Point No Point
Have a nice day!!
